Briggs & Stratton® – SimpliPHI™ – Product Launch

Briggs & Stratton® entered the energy storage market through its acquisition of  SimpliPhi Power™. This came at a time when homeowners and business owners were looking toward the future of renewable energy. Still, it was a challenge for Briggs & Stratton to incorporate the new SimpliPhi Energy Storage System (ESS) into its existing lineup of power solutions, so they turned to C-22 for help in developing the naming conventions and nomenclature of the ESS division and launching their new product lines.

Our team researched, conducted active brainstorming sessions, and developed a strategy for product naming and positioning approaches before presenting our recommendations to Briggs & Stratton.

Once organization and naming were established, C-22 helped build both excitement and awareness for the SimpliPhi Energy Storage System launch among dealers and distributors by creating dozens of assets including launch videos, radio ads, print collateral, sell sheets, in-store signage, tradeshow booth design, and several other promotional components. With so many moving parts, it was crucial to be consistent while building hype for the launch.

 

The key to the product launch was the annual RE+ Show in Anaheim, CA. The C-22 team designed the graphics for the new Briggs & Stratton / SimpliPHI exhibit that effectively married the product lines into one cohesive experience. The exhibit was a great success by all measures, drawing in scores of show attendees and was even named one of the “Top 3 Booths to Visit” after opening day.
