image campaign – KUSD

The Kenosha Area School District turned to C-22 for help in developing a community communication program that effectively conveyed the passion the district has for its students. The result, a multi-media campaign known simply as "I am KUSD."

Public school districts are much more than buildings and budgets, but for some residents, that's all they ever see or hear. Through "I am KUSD," we focused on the people who impact the lives of students everyday: teachers, janitors, librarians, lunchroom staff. Those folks are KUSD.

To reach the mass audience, the campaign included two 30-second cable TV spots and strategically placed community billboards. Targeted mailings were made to the parents of incoming kindergarten students, encouraging enrollment into the district.

The Catch-22 team was genuinely concerned with helping our district reach our stakeholders in the best ways possible and with a message that would resonate throughout the community. They were attentive and responsive from the first meeting to the last – we couldn’t have asked for more!
